A captivating world, every corner exuding boundless creativity & ingenuity.

My husband surprised me with tickets to the Eames Institute for my birthday. We are both graphic designers and learned about Ray and Charles Eames in college so this has a personal connection for us. I also recently received my very own Eames lounge chair and ottoman — a lifelong dream!

As I entered, I was immediately enveloped in the iconic designs of Charles and Ray Eames, each piece a testament to their unparalleled vision. Walking through the exhibits, I was transported through time, witnessing firsthand the evolution of their revolutionary ideas from humble beginnings to global acclaim. I feel inspired to explore my own creative boundaries, as if the spirit of innovation permeates every inch of the space.

The Eames Institute isn't just a museum; it's a journey through the minds of two extraordinary individuals who dared to challenge convention and reshape the way we perceive design.

After such an exciting tour, we needed some nourishment for the drive home. We popped into Earthbar for a smoothie and PB bowl — delish!
