Wine, Woods, and Good Company: A Perfect Weekend
We had such a great time on our trip to Guerneville with friends—it felt like the perfect balance of laid-back and indulgent. We kicked things off with wine tasting at WALT, where we sipped on beautiful pinots and enjoyed a spontaneous charcuterie picnic right out of the trunk of the car. It was low-key and kind of perfect. Afterward, we made our way to J Vineyards for more tastings, enjoying the misty weather, good conversation, and even better wine.
We stayed at the Dawn Ranch Inn, a cozy little spot nestled into the redwoods, which felt like a peaceful hideaway from the world. The whole place had a dreamy, woodsy charm that made it hard to leave. That night, we had an incredible dinner—fresh, seasonal, and totally satisfying—capping off the day with full hearts and full bellies. It was one of those trips that reminded us how lucky we are to have such great friends (and such great wine).
